The Eventuri EVE-A35-CF-INT is engineered specifically for the Mercedes-Benz A35 AMG, CLA35 AMG, A250, CLA250, and GLB35 AMG, enhancing the performance of turbocharged engines through a meticulously designed intake system. This intake system addresses common issues such as heat soak and airflow restriction, ensuring optimal engine performance.
Design and Materials
Constructed from high-quality carbon fiber, the airbox features a larger internal volume, which is crucial for maintaining low inlet temperatures. The design includes:
- Carbon Fiber Airbox: Increased airbox volume achieved by relocating the ECU, allowing for a cold-side opening that minimizes heat exposure from the exhaust manifold.
- Carbon Fiber Inlet Tube: The inlet tube starts with an internal diameter of 111mm (4.4 inches), tapering down to match the turbo inlet pipe, ensuring a smooth airflow transition.
- Bespoke High Flow Dry Filter: This custom filter has been ISO tested for superior filtration performance and offers a larger filtration area compared to the OEM filter.
Performance Gains
Dyno testing conducted by MSL Performance, a recognized Mercedes specialist, demonstrated significant performance improvements with the EVE-A35-CF-INT. The results indicate a power increase of 15-20 horsepower and 15-18 ft-lb of torque throughout the RPM range. The intake system maintains a higher flow rate at elevated RPMs, where the stock airbox tends to restrict airflow, resulting in improved throttle response and acceleration.
